COVID-19 vaccines developed by China’s Sinovac arrived in Mexico

MEXICO CITY, Feb. 21 (Xinhua) – The first shipment of COVID-19 vaccines developed by Chinese pharmaceutical firm Sinovac Biotech arrived at the Mexico City International Airport in Mexico City, Mexico, on Saturday.

Mexico’s government announced emergency approval of COVID-19 vaccines developed by Chinese pharmaceutical firms Sinovac Biotech and CanSino Biologics on Feb. 10.

Mexico’s vaccination campaign began in December 2020 and is expected to end in March 2022.
