CM, NWFP inaugurates 4 projects in communication works & education sectors in Charsadda



PESHAWAR, Feb 08 (INP): NWFP Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hotti inaugurated four major projects in communication works and education sectors upon his visit to district Charsadda on Monday. These projects will cost 35 Crore and 23 Lakh rupees.

Two way formation of five kilometers road from Nasta Interchange to Farooq Azam Chowk, widening of nine kilometers road from Charsadda to Tarnab China and construction of Government Girls Degree College and Charsadda Model Bus Stand. ANP Provincial President Afrasyab Khattak Senior Provincial Minister Bashir Ahmad Bilour, Provincial Minister Arshad Abdullah, MPAs from Charsadda Fazal Shakoor, Taimoor Khan and Shakil Bashir Umerzai, Political Secretary to Chief Minister Syed Masoom Shah Bacha, high-ups of C & W, Local Government and Education departments, Police Officers and Officials of district administration were also present on the occasion.

During the inaugural gathering of road from Nasta Interchange to Farooq Azam Chowk, the concerned authorities apprised the chief minister that the project will be completed till june this year, which will facilitate traffic influx from Motorway. Construction of Government Degree College with an area of 16 Canals will also be completed till June. Construction work on building of the college has been completed. The project will cost 10 crore rupees. The chief minister directed for prompt release of fund for necessary infra structure in this connection he said. Education institutes and highways play an important role in sustainable development of any area. That is the reason why the government is spending more and more resources in these sectors.

The widening project of nine kilometers road from Charsadda to Tarnab China will cost five crore rupees, while construction of Charsadda Model Bus Stand having total area of 1,74,080 Sq. Ft will cost six crore and 33 lakh rupees. Separate shades will also be constructed for buses, couches and loading-unloading in the stand. Moreover, the facility of workshops will also be available close by.

The chief minister said that timely and qualitative completion of these projects will be ensured inorder that people of Charsadda should benefited of its fruits. He said that many mega projects are under way in Charsadda and new projects are also sooner of come. He stressed the MPAs and people for close monitoring of work on these projects and hinting of any deficiency in this regard.
