Govt committed to make agriculture sector productive: Omar Ayub

Islamabad, Dec 14 (INP) – Minister for Power Division Omar Ayub Khan said that the government is committed to make the agriculture sector productive through providing relief to the farmers.

Addressing the news conference in Islamabad, he said it is also the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan to give maximum relief to our farmers.

He said, in past, the governments did not pay attention towards the distribution system due to which the country suffered with energy losses. He said there are also bottlenecks in the transmission system that needs to be rectified.

Omar Ayub Khan emphasized the need for betterment in the transmission and distribution system. He said our renewable energy policy will also be available very soon.

Speaking on the occasion, Kisan Ittehad president Khalid Khokhar said that economic progress is connected with the agriculture sector of the country.
