Federal Minister for Communications Aleem Khan has ordered the National Highway Authority to establish new toll plazas in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.The minister chaired an important meeting in the capital where the NHA gave him a detailed briefing on ongoing development projects.He added that the revenue collected from these toll plazas would be spent exclusively on improving KP’s road infrastructure while also warning that acts of vandalism at toll plazas would not be tolerated.

Khan highlighted the importance of revenue collection for ensuring continuity of both development and maintenance projects while also directing the mandatory inspections for all projects with liabilities exceeding Rs10 million.Reiterating his commitment to eliminating corruption within the NHA, Khan said no officer or staff member would be allowed to engage in corrupt practices and stressed that transparency and integrity must be upheld at every scale. The meeting was attended by Communications Secretary Ali Sher Mahsud and other senior officials.
