Two dacoits were shot dead during a police encounter in Lahore. The incident occurred in Nishtar Town of Lahore.Crime Control Department (CCD) Model Town sources said that a CCD team, after receiving information about the presence of criminals, raided a location in Nishtar Town. 

After noticing the police party, the dacoits and their companions began firing at the police. When the firing stopped, two dacoits were found dead, and their four accomplices fled the scene, taking advantage of the darkness. Later, the dead dacoits were identified as Awais, who was 24 years old, and Irshad, who was 26.

The CCD team shifted the dead bodies of dacoits to the hospital’s mortuary for autopsy. Crime Control Department (CCD) sources said that police are checking the crime record of dead dacoits to know how many cases were registered against the dead dacoits.
