As a part of Pak-China educational cooperation, 18 students who have been awarded “Chinese Consular Scholarship Program” are all set to go to China to attend three semesters in Shandong Institute Commerce and Technology (SICT). In accordance with detail 99 Gwadar students have received Chinese Consular Scholarship on April 29, 2025.

As part of the tetra-partite agreement among COPHC, GPA, SICT and University of Gwadar, diploma students at PCVTI will complete 1 year in Gwadar and rest of the 3 semesters in SICT in Shandong.

The scholarship has been conferred to 30 females and 39 male students in the fields of Pharm D, BBA, Sociology, Fine Arts, MBBS, Mphil, B.ED, LLB, Public Administration, Civil Engineering, Radiology, Fisheries, Political Science, Botany, Bio Chemistry and Management Science.

These students belong to the University of Gwadar, Pak-China Technical & Vocational Institute and other universities, Gwadar Pro reported.
