Bringing together expert representatives from more than 20 countries—including delegates from leading global institutions such as the World Bank and Asian Development Bank—the conference served as a key platform for exchanging ideas and addressing critical challenges facing the engineering industry.

Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives, Ahsan Iqbal, inaugurated the event and delivered the opening address.

In his speech, he commended the conference’s significance, calling it an essential forum for enhancing the professionalism of consulting engineers and promoting regional integration.

Minister Iqbal emphasized that the outcomes of the conference would inject new momentum into energy transition, infrastructure construction, and innovation-driven development, reinforcing Pakistan’s commitment to fostering global partnerships and sustainable growth in the engineering sector.
