On the completion of two years since the establishment of GDA Pak-China Friendship Hospital, an endoscopy unit has been unveiled.

A Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman Baloch, formally inaugurated the modern endoscopy unit at the hospital.

According to a Gwadar Pro's report, on this occasion, Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman Baloch stated that this facility is a valuable gift for the millions of residents of Gwadar and its surrounding areas.

He prayed that this new service becomes a source of healing for patients.

Through endoscopy, timely diagnosis and treatment of complex diseases of the stomach, intestines, and digestive system will now be possible—conditions for which patients previously had to travel long and costly distances to Karachi or other cities.

Speaking on the occasion, Head of Campus Dr. Affan Faiqzada said that the launch of the endoscopy unit marked the first time such services have been available in the history of Gwadar.

The ceremony was attended by Chief Engineer GDA Haji Syed Muhammad, Director Admin GDA Changez Khan, District Health Officer Gwadar Yasir Tahir Baloch, Public Relations Officer GDA Hafeez Sheran, Faculty Chair & Consultant Urologist Dr. Zafarullah Baloch, hospital staff, and political representatives.

A cake was also cut to celebrate the completion of two years and the launch of endoscopy services.
