Dozens Muslims booked, arrested in pro-Pakistan slogan case in UPتازترین

Indian police lodged an FIR against over four dozen Muslims and arrested six people for raising pro-Pakistan slogans in BJP-ruled Uttar Pradesh state.According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian police lodged an FIR against over four dozen people, including Ittehad-e-Millat Council (IMC) members, in connection with the pro-Pakistan slogans raised in a busy market in Bareilly city.

The main warrant was lodged against Kashif, son of former corporator Tahseen, who is allegedly associated with Maulana Tauqeer Raza’s Ittehad-e-Millat Council (IMC). Maulana Tauqeer Raza has been lodged in jail since September 27 last year, after being arrested in Bareilly on September 26 over an “I Love Mohammad” poster.

The complaint against the Muslims was filed by a Hindutva Hindu resident, Vikas. He claimed that he was standing near a computer shop when a group of youths on motorcycles, carrying cricket bats, passed through the lane raising slogans.
