Pakistan's red-ball head coach Azhar Mahmood said on Thursday that he was expecting solid performances from the players in the upcoming two-match Test series against South Africa, slated to begin from October 12.Expressing his thoughts, Mahmood said: "The wickets for the upcoming Test series against South Africa will bear some similarity to those used in the England and West Indies series, though they will not be the same."
He highlighted that South Africa possesses some of the finest cricketers and underlined the need to prepare thoroughly to face their key players.He added that winning a Test match requires four to five days of hard work and determination. Mahmood also praised Asif Afridi’s achievement of 80 wickets in two years.
