Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has welcomed the announcement of a ceasefire in Lebanon, calling it a positive step toward regional stability. He also praised diplomatic efforts that led to the breakthrough.In a message shared on X, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif welcomed the ceasefire in Lebanon and expressed hope that it would pave the way for sustainable and lasting peace in the region. 

He described the development as a significant diplomatic achievement at a time of heightened tensions in the Middle East. The prime minister appreciated the role of Donald Trump, stating that the ceasefire was made possible due to his “bold and sagacious diplomacy.”According to Shehbaz Sharif, President Trump’s courage and wise approach played a key role in bringing both sides toward a ceasefire agreement.

The PM expressed optimism that the ceasefire would not just be temporary but would help lay the foundation for long-term peace in the region. He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to supporting all possible efforts aimed at achieving sustainable peace.
