A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on the sidelines of the Pakistan-China B2B Investment Conference held here, marking a step forward in bilateral commercial cooperation within the agricultural sector.

The agreement was one of the key collaborative outcomes achieved among the more than 450 businesses from both countries that participated in the event, according to a report carried by Gwadar Pro.

The agreement was inked between Eventex, a Pakistani exhibitions and event management company, and Songshi Enterprise Management Consulting (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. Under the terms of the MoU, Eventex will facilitate the participation of the Chinese company in the 3rd Pakistan Agro Show 2026, scheduled to take place from October 29-31 at the International Expo Centre in Lahore.

Both parties have mutually recognized each other as strategic partners, committing to promote common development and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results through their business collaboration.

The partnership is expected to open new avenues for Chinese agricultural machinery manufacturers, technology providers, and agribusiness firms to explore Pakistan’s growing market, while also providing local farmers and enterprises with access to cutting-edge innovations and expertise.

The Pakistan-China B2B Investment Conference was organized by the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination in collaboration with other relevant authorities.

The conference focused on strengthening industrial cooperation and promoting investment across multiple sectors, with healthcare, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology in particular.

Representing Eventex, Haider Ali highlighted the irreplaceable role of Pak-China cooperation in advancing the agricultural development process in Pakistan, noting that Chinese innovation and expertise have become vital drivers for modernizing the farming sector in the country.

“The Pakistan Agro Show provides an ideal platform for international investors and technology partners to connect with local stakeholders,” Ali added.

“Through this MoU with Songshi, we aim to bridge Chinese excellence with Pakistani agricultural needs, creating sustainable value for both sides.”
