Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) Gwadar Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman and Director General of the Gwadar Development Authority (GDA) Moeen-ur-Rehman Khan formally inaugurated three development projects completed under the GDA Old Town Rehabilitation Project.

The inaugurated projects include various construction, expansion and renovation works at the Government Girls High School Gwadar, as well as the Captain Yaqoob Rahi Volleyball Ground and Abdullah Asim Futsal Ground, Gwadar Pro reported.

Following the inauguration, MPA Gwadar Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman and GDA Director General Moeen-ur-Rehman Khan also participated in a tree-planting drive at the school and sports grounds.

They visited various sections of the Government Girls High School and reviewed the educational and basic facilities provided by the GDA.

The various components of the project include the construction of additional classrooms, installation of Tuff Tiles, boundary walls, two main gates, an examination hall, auditorium, cafeteria, water tank, sheds, play area, electricity transformer, provision of furniture for classrooms, restoration of the old structure, and other necessary facilities.

Similarly, under the sports ground projects, futsal and volleyball grounds have been constructed and improved, along with boundary walls, basic infrastructure, renovation and other essential facilities, to provide young people and students with a better environment for healthy recreational and sporting activities.

Speaking to media representatives, MPA Gwadar Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman said that the inauguration of the educational and sports projects completed by the GDA was an important gift for the people of Gwadar, particularly those associated with education.

He added that the completed projects were a practical manifestation of ongoing efforts to develop Gwadar and provide basic facilities to the people.
