In a major operation against land grabbers, the district administration has retrieved 150 kanal of state land belonging to the Communication and Works (C&W) Department on Thursday.Following the directives of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, the district administration conducted a major operation against land grabbers in Mauza Dhap Chabak and successfully retrieved approximately 150 kanals of state land from illegal occupants.

The estimated value of the reclaimed land is around Rs45 million.Assistant Commissioner (Revenue) Iftikhar Ahmad led the anti-encroachment drive in Mauza Dhap Chabak, Tehsil Dera Ismail Khan.Furthermore, nearly 120 maunds of wheat were also confiscated from the land mafia and taken into government custody.The operation was carried out jointly by the Assistant Commissioner, Tehsildar Dera, revenue staff, and officials from the C&W Department.

The authorities described the action as a significant step in curbing illegal land occupation in the district.The district administration reaffirmed its commitment to continue indiscriminate action against encroachers and ensure the protection of public property.
