Ali Shamkhani claims Iran’s enriched uranium unaffected by US aggression Breaking

June 23, 2025

Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile remains safe and its broader nuclear capabilities unaffected by recent US air strikes, a senior adviser to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said.Ali Shamkhani, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, wrote on the social media platform X that the United States had failed in its bid to undermine Tehran’s nuclear programme. “Our enriched uranium is safe despite the attacks on our nuclear facilities,” he stated.

“Even if the installations themselves are damaged, the game is not over. The material, the expertise, and the political will remain intact.”Shamkhani described Iran as possessing all three pillars necessary for a robust nuclear programme—“expertise, material, and intention”—and warned that any further aggression would be met with proportionate measures. “It is impossible to eliminate Iran’s nuclear capability,” he wrote.

“The real advantage now lies with the side that acts wisely and avoids indiscriminate bombing. Our surprising actions will continue.”The remarks come amid heightened regional tensions following coordinated US air strikes on military and nuclear-related sites in Isfahan, Natanz, and Fordow.Washington has justified the strikes as a pre-emptive measure to thwart Iran’s alleged efforts to develop a nuclear weapon, a charge Tehran vehemently denies.
