Four people were murdered in a gunfight triggered by a trivial dispute in Mardan.According to DSP Sheikh Maltoon, a verbal altercation led to the deadly duel, killing three people from group and another from the rival group in Kot Ismaelzai area.

The police collected evidence from the crime scene and shifted the bodies to DHQ and MMC hospitals.The police launched an investigation into the fatal shootout. The deceased were identified as 26-year-old Manzar, 24-year-old Hassan Zeb, 25-year-old Farman Zeb and Tasbeeh Ullah. The police have so far failed to establish the reason behind the murders.
