In a notable move reflecting the country’s appreciation for its true heroes, a high-level meeting was conducted at the Cabinet Division in Islamabad, chaired by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi. The meeting focused on reviewing nominations for civil awards aimed at honouring individuals who have exhibited outstanding courage and commitment in defending and serving the nation.
The meeting concluded with formal approval of civil awards for 71 individuals, each honored for their exceptional bravery, selfless sacrifices, and unwavering service to the motherland. The awards reflect the state’s gratitude toward those who have upheld national interests above self. Speaking at the meeting, Interior Minister stressed the moral obligation to recognize the nation’s defenders, stating that .
“These courageous sons of the soil have rendered unparalleled service, showing no fear in the face of danger.” He further emphasized that the martyrs are the crown of the nation. “Our Ghazis represent the finest example of courage and dedication,” the minister said, while also adding “Their valor fills us with pride, and we will never let the sacrifices of our martyrs and Ghazis be forgotten or go unhonored.”
