Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed Pakistan's unwavering solidarity with the brotherly people of Saudi Arabia. In a post on social media platform X, the Prime Minister said he met the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Tuesday and discussed the rapidly evolving situation in the Middle East.
The Prime Minister said Pakistan will continue to work closely with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for peace in the region through dialogue and diplomacy. Shehbaz Sharif said he also conveyed his prayers and good wishes for Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, as well as Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
Meanwhile, in another post on X, the Prime Minister said he met with Ambassador of Qatar to express solidarity with the Amir and the brotherly people of Qatar following last night's attacks. Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan has always advocated for dialogue and diplomacy as the only path to lasting peace in the Middle East. He said we pray for the safety and security of our Qatari brothers and sisters, and the entire region.
