Seven people including women and children lost their lives, and eight others were wounded when a speedy car smashed into a stationary car in Gwadar. According to details, the accident occurred near the Manjhi area of Gwadar on the Makran Coastal Highway, where a car going to Karachi from Gwadar rammed into another car, which was parked on the roadside, killing seven people and injuring eight others.

Police and rescue teams rushed to the spot after being informed and shifted the dead bodies and injured to a hospital. Rescue sources said women and children were among the deceased and injured. Rescue sources further said that the death toll may rise further as some of the injured were in critical condition.  Meanwhile, police have registered a case and also started an investigation.
