The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter paid rich tributes to former Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Sardar Abdul Qayyum Khan, on his 10th death anniversary, remembering him as a towering political figure and an unwavering advocate of Kashmir’s freedom movement.  According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC-AJK chapter held a commemorative event at its office in Islamabad today, which was attended by senior political and Hurriyat leaders, intellectuals, and civil society members. 

The speakers included senior leader of PML(N) Raja Zafar-ul-Haq, Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed, Abdullah Gul, APHC-AJK senior leader Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, Mehmood Ahmed Saghar, Shameem Shawl, Director of the Kashmir Liberation Cell Raja Afsar Khan, and Muslim Conference leaders Sardar Abid and Asim Abbasi. 

Recalling Sardar Abdul Qayyum Khan’s distinguished political and social contributions, the speakers hailed him as a multifaceted statesman whose legacy continues to inspire generations of Kashmiris. They said his unyielding commitment to the Kashmir cause, democratic ideals, and public welfare earned him deep respect across party lines.
