Three people died when a speedy truck loaded with a container hit a passenger mini-bus, and both the vehicles fell into a ravine on Motorway near Jaranwala on Saturday. The accident occurred near Chak Bahman 628GB on M-3 Motorway near Jaranwala. According to eye- witnesses, the driver of the container truck lost control of the vehicle and collided with the Mazda bus. Rescue 1122 sources said that both vehicles fell into a ravine.
Three people including driver of the Mazda lost their lives. The deceased were later identified as Mohammad Azam aged 45 who belonged to Bahawalpur, Farman aged 45 was a resident of Lahore and 48-year-old Mohammad Zaman was a resident of Multan. Rescue team handed over the dead bodies to police after completing legal proceedings for necessary action. Further investigation by Jaranwala police was under way.
