Two people have been killed while three have been injured in different incidents of roof and wall collapse in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) during recent heavy rains. According to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), out of total nine houses damaged due to rains, five have been partially damaged, while four have been completely destroyed.

The Met Office on Wednesday predicted more rainfall for Islamabad during the next 24 hours.  It said that the maximum temperature would go up to 32 degrees Celsius. Breeze was blowing in the federal capital at the speed of nine kilometers per hour, while the level of moisture was recorded at 72 per cent. The weather in Karachi was partly cloudy on Wednesday morning, while the Met Office said that it would drizzle in the port city during the day.

Breeze was blowing from the south-west at the speed of seven kilometers per hour, while the level of moisture in the air stood at 81 per cent. The Met Office said that the maximum temperature in the city would fluctuate between 30 degrees Celsius and 32 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 25.8 degrees Celsius. The Met Office has forecast rainfall for upper Punjab, Kashmir, upper KP and Gilgit-Baltistan during the next 24 hours.
