September 17, 2025

The University of Sargodha (UoS), in partnership with Everest International, announced that it will host the 9th Pakistan Industrial Expo from September 27–29, 2025, at the Expo Centre, Lahore.

The event will once again serve as a major platform for China-Pakistan industrial cooperation.

“The Pakistan Industrial Expo has become a hub for fostering industrial cooperation, technology transfer, and business partnerships over the past eight years,” said UoS Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas at a press conference in Lahore.

He added that hosting the 2025 edition reflects the University’s commitment to strengthening industry-academia linkages and contributing to Pakistan’s economic development through innovation and collaboration with Chinese partners.

Since its launch in 2017, the Expo has grown into one of South Asia’s most prominent industrial showcases, attracting hundreds of Chinese and Pakistani exhibitors from sectors such as machinery, energy, technology, construction materials, and engineering. Thousands of visitors—including investors, entrepreneurs, and students—attend each year.

For 2025, Everest International will again provide targeted matchmaking services between exhibitors and visitors to ensure practical business outcomes.“The Expo is the most prestigious platform for industrial networking, innovation, and global partnerships,” the organizers emphasized.

Everest International Managing Partner Armughan Muqeem welcomed industry leaders to explore “endless opportunities in technology, manufacturing, energy, engineering, and trade,” underscoring the Expo’s role in celebrating the Pakistan-China friendship and expanding entrepreneurial horizons.

The University of Sargodha has consistently supported the Expo’s vision of linking industry with academia. Last year, the 8th Pakistan Industrial Expo 2024 featured participants from over 300 Pakistani and Chinese companies. The 7th edition in 2023 also drew strong attention, with more than 250 companies showcasing opportunities for cooperation in technology, trade, and manufacturing.

The 2025 Expo is expected to facilitate direct business-to-business linkages, boost trade volumes, and introduce advanced Chinese technologies and investment models into Pakistan’s industrial landscape.
