The police in Kurram district arrested 10 suspects during a large-scale search and strike operation in Parachinar city, the official sources said on Monday.The operation was carried out on the special directives of District Police Officer (DPO) Malik Habib Khan and led by SP Falak Nawaz Bangash. The police, under Station House Officer, Ishtiaq Hussain, conducted raids across the city and surrounding areas under the cover of night.

During the operation, they detained 10 outlaws involved in illegal possession of weapons. The police recovered six pistols and one Kalashnikov rifle from their custody.The police registered case against the accused and launched further investigations.  Speaking on the occasion, DPO Malik Habib Khan said that indiscriminate action against elements involved in illegal activities would continue, adding that ensuring the protection of the people’ lives and property was the top priority of the police.
