Preparations for Independence Day celebrations have gained momentum across Hazara Division, with people from district Haripur to Upper Kohistan enthusiastically taking part in activities ahead of August 14.

Despite intermittent heavy rainfall in parts of the region, the spirit of Independence Day remains high, with major markets in Abbottabad, Haripur, Mansehra, Battagram, Torghar and Kohistan decorated with national flags, buntings and portraits of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and national heroes.

People, particularly children and youth, are visiting markets to purchase national flags, badges, stickers, portraits and other Independence Day items. Motorcycles, cars and public transport vehicles are also being decorated with national flags and stickers, reflecting the patriotic spirit of the people.

Shopkeepers have displayed a wide variety of Independence Day merchandise to attract customers, while youngsters are enthusiastically purchasing flags and badges to decorate their homes, vehicles and business establishments.

From the urban centers of Haripur and Abbottabad to the mountainous areas of Mansehra, Battagram, Torghar and Upper Kohistan, people are actively participating in preparations for August 14 celebrations. The display of national flags across markets, roads, vehicles and residential areas has added a festive atmosphere to the region.

The preparations have reflected the strong sense of patriotism and national pride among the people of Hazara, who are looking forward to celebrating Independence Day with traditional zeal and enthusiasm.
