ISLAMABAD, Nov 27 (INP): After striking an agreement with the government on Monday the Faizabad sit-in of religious party in Islamabad, which was continued for 21 days, and other protests parts of the country have been ended and life turning normalize in most part of the city particularly in major cities. Islamabad: The people of mostly affected areas of twin cities- Islamabad and Rawalpindi- have taken sigh of relief after the agreement between protesters and government that caused the step down of law minister Zahid Hamid. District administration and police cleared the roads by removing containers while the protesters came from other parts of the country have been started to returning their homes. After Islamabad High Court orders the police has started releasing the workers and supporters of religious party, who were arrested during the crackdown, however the jailed workers in Adyala jail will be released after the order of the magistrate. Karachi: The sit-in at various part of the metropolitan have been over and the traffic witnessed normal as the almost all the markets and bazars, which were closed since morning, have been opened and people rushed to buy livelihood. Lahore: The protesters in Lahore have been started disperse after announcement of their leaders in Faizabad to end the Dharana. The sit-in at Shahdra, Kahna Ferozepur Raod, changa Manga Chowk and other parts of the city have been come to an end as the blocked roads have been opened for the traffic along with the motorway section which was closed due to sit-in. LBC Strike: On the other hand the courts in Lahore witnessed complete shut down after strike call by the bar associations. Punjab Bar Council said in its release that government has made the change in Khatm-e-Nubowat law for gaining political mileage. The cases could not be proceeded second consecutive day that caused the pending of 33000 cases in two days. Faisalabad: The protest by the religious party being continued in Faisalabad for the release of the arrested workers and people held sit-in at District council chowk. They demanded the release of arrested workers and warned the protest will be spilled across the province if arrested workers not released. Lawyer Strike: The lawyer under the umbrella of Faisalabad District Bar held Namoos-e-Risalat rally and condemned the attempt to change in the finality of Prophet (PBUH) law. The funeral prayer of a protester, killed in during Faizabad crackdown, have been offered in Dijkot, district of Faisalabad , and was attended by the hundreds of local people. Multan: On the directives of the central leadership the religious parties have also announced the scraping of Dharnas that pave the wary for traffic flow and routine life. However the protesters warned the sit-in would be started again if government have failed to implement the agreement. Peshawar: After the end of central sit-in at Faizabad, the sit-in staged in various parts of the province have been ended. The main Ring-Road opened for the traffic and the participants of the sit-in dispersed. They termed the agreement victory for the religious party and warned government’s failure to abide the agreement might restart of sit-on.
