A dacoit committed suicide by shooting himself during a robbery attempt inside a hotel in Karachi. According to police, the dacoit entered into a hotel near Jinnah Hospital to commit robbery but when people tried to apprehend him he opened fire on them. The dacoit approached the rooftop of the hotel to take shelter but shot himself to avoid arrest.

The dacoit was later identified as Imran. Soon after receiving the report of the incident, a heavy contingent of police reached the spot and collected evidence from the crime scene. The police shifted the dead body of the dacoit to the hospital for autopsy. Further investigation was underway.
