Rescue 1122 Lakki Marwat responded promptly to 147 different emergency incidents during the last week, providing timely medical and emergency services to the people in the area. According to the weekly performance report, Rescue 1122 Lakki Marwat received a total of 2,889 calls during the week. These included 1,447 unnecessary or fake calls and 1,295 information calls.
The report added that rescue teams responded to 123 medical emergencies, 12 road traffic accidents, 6 incidents involving fights and gunshot injuries, and 5 recovery operations. A total of 139 patients were safely shifted to hospitals, while necessary medical assistance was also provided at the scene.
Meanwhile, it also provided referral services and responded to 49 emergencies. Eight patients were transported within the district, while 41 patients were shifted from one district to another. Overall, 50 patients benefited from the Rescue 1122 referral service, it added.
