The body of an Indian police head constable was discovered under mysterious circumstances in Rajouri district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.  According to Kashmir Media Service, the body was found in front of the gate of The Simran Hotel near Panja Chowk in the district.

The deceased has been identified as Head Constable Naresh Kumar.  Authorities have shifted the body to Government Medical College, Rajouri, for medico-legal procedures. Meanwhile, police have registered a case and launched an investigation to determine the cause and circumstances surrounding the death.
