An agreement was signed between the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) and ABS Developers to build Pakistan’s tallest building in Karachi. Burj-e-Quaid will be an 82-storey tower will be constructed in DHA City Karachi as the formal agreement was signed. The 941-foot high project, planned on nearly six acres of land, aims to feature modern architectural design and is expected to be completed within six years, according to details shared by the developers.
It was also learnt that Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) and other relevant departments have issued a no-objection certificate (NOC) for the project, clearing a key regulatory hurdle for the high-rise development. The tower is expected to become the country’s tallest building upon completion. The ABS Developers will launch work on the project under the supervision of international experts and consultants. The project is certainly going to spur investment in modern civil infrastructure and business activities in the megacity.
