Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said the armed forces have given a strong, coordinated and powerful response to the Indian aggression and avenged the blood of innocent people. He made the remarks during his telephonic conversation with Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar,JUI (F) leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman, MQM Convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, Balochistan Awami Party head Khalid Hussain Magsi, and Pakistan Muslim League-Q leader Chaudhry Salik Hussain. 

The Prime Minister took the political leaders into confidence regarding the current tense situation and Pakistan's retaliatory actions against India. He said India launched missile and drone attacks on Pakistan. Despite these aggressive actions, Pakistan exercised utmost restraint. He said India this morning again launched missile attacks on Nur Khan Airbase and other locations. He said the Indian attacks targeted innocent and unarmed civilians. Shehbaz Sharif said our brave Armed Forces gave a befitting response to these repeated Indian aggressions. 

He said in the retaliatory operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos, Pakistan specifically targeted those Indian military installations from where the attacks on Pakistan originated. He said we are proud of our Armed Forces. Shehbaz Sharif congratulated the political leadership and the entire nation on this successful operation. The Prime Minister said Pakistan is determined to thwart India’s nefarious attempts to harm Pakistan’s sovereignty. 

The country’s political leaders paid tribute to the prudence, courage and professionalism of Pakistan’s armed forces. The political leadership assured the Prime Minister of their full support and the solidarity of the entire Pakistani nation during this challenging time. The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to the political leadership for their unequivocal support.
