The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Education Department has issued a notification stating that all educational institutions will remain open for five days a week. As per the notification, all the schools will remain open from Monday to Friday and will be closed on Saturday and Sunday.

The decision will be implemented in all the government and private educational institutions. The change in school timings and schedule will provide relief and betterment in the education sector. All the educational institutions are hereby directed to implement the above-said directives immediately, the notification added.
