In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), Dar-ul-Khair Mirwaiz Manzil in Srinagar has expressed deep sorrow and sympathy over the devastating fire that recently ravaged the densely populated area of Qarfali Mohalla in the city. According to Kashmir Media Service, the fire destroyed 13 residential houses and valuable belongings, causing extensive loss of property and leaving the affected families in distress.
On behalf of its patron, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, a senior leader of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), Dar-ul-Khair conveyed its heartfelt solidarity with the victims and stressed the urgent need for their rehabilitation. A delegation from Dar-ul-Khair, led by Mufti Ghulam Rasool Samoon, visited the area and handed over essential relief materials to the local Mohalla Committee for distribution to 17 affected families.
Reiterating its long-standing commitment to humanitarian service, Dar-ul-Khair highlighted that since its inception, the organization has consistently provided relief and rehabilitation assistance to disaster-stricken families across occupied Jammu and Kashmir, regardless of faith or background. The organization also appealed to well-off individuals to continue extending their generous support to sustain these charitable efforts.
