The Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian President  and senior APHC leader, Agha Syed Hasssn Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi, has expressed deep concern over the deteriorating health condition of jailed Hurriyat leader Shabbir Ahmed Shah. According to Kashmir Media Service, Shabbir Ahmad Shah who is currently imprisoned at New Delhi’s Tihar Jail continues to face illegal detention for the past 7 years in a politically-motivated case. 

In a statement issued in Srinagar, Agha Moosvi called on Delhi High to ensure necessary medical assistance to Shabbir Ahmed Shah in accordance with the rights of prisoners. “Also his family be allowed to be with him during the course of medical treatment,” he added.
