All the celebrations of a wedding party turned into a tragedy when a newly-wed couple breathed their last after eating toxic rice in Kot Addu area of Punjab. According to details, the tragic incident took place in Dera Deen Panah area of Kot Addu as the couple got married just two days ago. The family members of the newly-wed couple said that they ate rice and then drank milk, after which their health condition deteriorated.

The couple got locked into marriage two or three days ago. They said that the wife died in her house before the death of her husband, namely Muaz. The husband was immediately rushed to Nishtar Hospital due to his critical condition, but he died in the hospital. The family members stated that they will not take any action against anyone as the couple died due to Cholera.
