The Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) has commended the Pakistan Armed Forces for their immediate, effective, and courageous response to Indian military attack. In a statement released on Monday, the PBC said that the Pakistan armed forces are among the best professional forces in the world, adding that they have compelled the enemy to bow down. 

The bar council declaration also demanded the resolution of the Kashmir issue in accordance with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people. 

The PBC urged the international community and human rights organisations to press India for a resolution to the Kashmir issue and called on the global community to force India to abide by the Indus Waters Treaty. Furthermore, the PBC proposed negotiations and trade relations with India for the sake of peace in the region.
