In Narowal, a ninth-grade student brought his father’s pistol to school, accidentally firing it inside a classroom and injuring three fellow students.According to media reports, the incident occurred at a private school in Narowal, where the student was reportedly playing with the loaded weapon in a classroom when it suddenly discharged.

As a result, three students sitting in the classroom sustained injuries from the gunfire.The school administration immediately rushed the injured children to the District Headquarters Hospital for emergency treatment. Police have registered a case and taken two students into custody for questioning.

Taking a strict notice of the incident, the District Commissioner of Narowal has sealed the private school. According to the FIR lodged by the father of one of the injured students, he accused thestudent who fired the gun of attempting to murder his son. Authorities are continuing their investigation into how the weapon was brought onto the school premises and whether school officials were negligent in security checks.
