Section 144 imposed in Dera Ismail Khan during Muharram تازترین

Deputy Commissioner Abdul Nasir Khan has imposed Section 144 in Dera Ismail Khan during Muharram to maintain law and order and ensure the protection of lives and property.According to a notification issued by the district administration, several preventive measures have been put in place. The display of arms, sale of petroleum products in open bottles, and sale of LPG and CNG cylinders along Muharram procession routes have been strictly prohibited. Construction activities on procession routes have also been banned. 

The order further prohibits the use of loudspeakers and sound systems in public places, wall chalking, and the dissemination of sectarian hate material through audio-video cassettes or printed content. Similarly, giving shelter to unknown individuals in houses or hotels located along the procession routes has been banned. To enhance security, pillion riding on motorcycles will remain banned from Muharram 1 to 8, while a complete ban on motorcycle riding will be enforced on Muharram 9 and 10. The district administration urged citizens to cooperate with the authorities to maintain peace and harmony during the holy month.
