The Sindh cabinet has decided to do away with the traditional file system and has made it obligatory on all provincial ministers, advisers and assistants to use laptops at all cabinet meetings. The Department of General Administration will purchase laptops and then hand them over to the cabinet members, while, on the other hand, the section officer Cabinet has already started training the members in the use of the gadget so that they could get accustomed to its usage.
The entire agenda of a cabinet meeting will now be saved in laptops, which will not be shared with anyone, except ministers and other members of the cabinet. Likewise, the minutes of the meetings and the decisions taken will also be saved in laptops. A large number of ministers and advisors in the provincial cabinet don’t have any know-how about using laptops.
