Three people lost their lives and 11 others seriously injured when a Hyundai loader collided with a vegetable-loaded Mazda truck in Toba Tek Singh on Saturday. The accident took place at the Rajana-Motorway Interchange near Toba Tek Singh. The deceased included two women and a one-year-old boy. Sources said that 14 people were on boarded the Hyundai loader who were going from Multan to Data Darbar in Lahore.

The dead persons were later identified as Samina, 35, Shamim, 55, and Shafiq, who was only one year old. The names of injured persons are Faizan, Jameel, Aurangzeb, Reshma, Asma, Umm-e-Habiba, and others. Soon after receiving the report, local police and the Rescue team rushed to the spot and shifted the dead and injured persons to the hospital.
