Three accused including one drug-peddlers were gunned down during different police encounters in Lahore and Faisalabad.These police encounters took place in Iqbal Town and the Chung areas of Lahore. A Crime Control Department (CCD) team was taking an accused, Mubasshir, in Iqbal Town and Adnan Hussain from the Chung area for recovery purposes. Some accomplices of both accused opened fire on the Crime control Department team.

The CCD team remained unhurt, mysteriously, in the encounter. Later, the CCD team shifted the bodies of both accused to the hospital mortuary for autopsy. The police constituted different teams to apprehend the accomplices of the accused.In another CCD encounter in Faisalabad, a Crime Control Department (CCD) team cardoned off the area. The CCD team under the supervision of Incharge Crime Control Department Ali Ikram Goraya intercepted four suspicious accused to stop but instead they attacked the CCD team.

 During retaliation, one accused was killed and his three other accomplices fled away from the scene. The dead drug-peddler was identified as Irfan Habib.He was involved in supplying Ice drug in educational institutions. Later, the police shifted the dead body of drug-peddler to the hospital mortuary and started a search operation to apprehend the accomplices of the accused.
