The accused involved in the killing of popular TikToker Sana Yousuf in Islamabad has been arrested by the police from Faisalabad on Tuesday. The police have also succeeded in recovering the weapon (a pistol) from the custody of the accused person. As per the channel report, on the complaint of the mother, an FIR has already been registered at Islamabad's Sambal Police Station in the tragic murder case of popular TikToker Sana Yousuf.
According to the FIR, around 5 PM, an unidentified man forcibly entered the 17-year-old social media influencer's home in Islamabad. He was dressed in a black shirt and trousers and was armed with a pistol. Sana Yousuf’s mother stated that at the time of the incident, her husband was not at home, and her 15-year-old son had travelled to Chitral village. She reported that the intruder entered Sana’s room and opened fire with clear intent to kill. The assailant shot Sana twice before fleeing the scene as the family raised the alarm.
Sana was immediately rushed to the hospital in a neighbour’s car, but she succumbed to her injuries en route. The grieving mother noted that her daughter was a well-known social media influencer with a strong following. She further revealed that her sister-in-law, Lateefa Shah, who was staying with them as a guest, witnessed the entire incident. Both Sana’s mother and Lateefa Shah have offered to identify the assailant if brought before them.
TikToker Sana Yousuf, who belonged to Upper Chitral, was shot dead in Islamabad’s G-13/1 sector on Monday. According to police, Sana Yousuf received two bullets before she died, and the bullets were fired by her cousin, who was visiting her house. She was shifted to KRL Hospital and Shifa Hospital, where she succumbed to her wounds. Sana Yousuf was an MBBS first-year student. Her postmortem examination is underway at the PIMS hospital in Islamabad. Police have recorded initial statements of Sana’s family members.
