Two notorious dacoits died on the spot by the firing of their colleagues during an encounter with Crime Control Department (CCD) team in Lahore. CCD sources said that this encounter took place in Hanjarwal area of Lahore. Sources of CCD further revealed that the dead accused were involved in some serious criminal cases including dacoity. The accused were later identified as Qasim and Tasleem. 

It is necessary to mention here that all the CCD personnel remain unhurt mysteriously with the police encounter. Later, all colleagues of accused escaped from the scene taking advantage of darkness. CCD personnel cordoned off the entire area and started a search operation to apprehend the remaining culprits. Police constituted different teams in this regard.
