A woman on Thursday was killed and two others injured after her veil became entangled in a motorcycle chain near the Nankana Bypass in the Mananwala area of the district, the Rescue 1122 officials said .

According to initial reports, the victim fell from the motorcycle when her veil got caught in the chain, leading to fatal injuries at the spot. The deceased was identified as 40-year-old Asia Bibi.

The Rescue 1122 team provided first aid to the injured and shifted them to a nearby hospital. The injured were identified as Aroosa Fatima 23 and and Abu Sufyan 7 years old. The body of the deceased was handed over to police for further legal procedures.
