BEIJING, Jan. 20 (Xinhua) -- Four people, including three medical personnel, were injured in a knife attack at a hospital in Beijing on Monday, police said.
The incident happened at about 2 p.m. at Beijing Chaoyang Hospital when a man attacked others with a kitchen knife before fleeing the scene. The suspect, a 36-year-old surnamed Cui, was later apprehended by police officers and security staff at the hospital.
The victims are receiving treatment in the hospital and their lives are not at risk.
Investigations are underway.
