AC to indict Zardari, Faryal in fake accounts case on Oct 4

ISLAMABAD, Sep 19 (INP): The accountability court of Islamabad will indict former president Asif Ali Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur in fake accounts and Park Lane cases on October 4.
Accountability court judge Muhammad Bashir was hearing the case under strict security arrangements.
During the hearing, Judge Muhammad Bashir asked Zardari that has he received the copies of the reference?
[timed-content-server show="09/20/2019 01:00 Asia/Karachi"]To which PPP co-chairman replied: “We have reached the courtroom a while ago, need time to consult with my lawyers.” In response, the judge asked all of them to have a meeting in the next room as there was hustle and bustle in the courtroom. Latif Khosa, the defense counsel, complained with the court that despite of the court’s orders, an air conditioner and a fridge was not given to his client in the jail. “You [the court] ordered to give fridge in the jail, but they gave bags containing ice,” Khosa said regretfully. After hearing the arguments, the court ordered to indict all accused persons on the next hearing after providing them with the copies of the reference. Meanwhile, daughter of Asif Zardari, Asifa Bhutto, Nafeesa Shah, Rubina Khalid and other Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leaders reached the judicial complex to meet party leaders.
