Adequate stock of transport fuels in Pakistan: OCAC

KARACHI, May 26 (INP) - The Oil Companies’ Advisory Council (OCAC) has confirmed that there are more than adequate stocks of both Gasoline as well as High Speed Diesel in the Country. Gasoline Stocks stand at 300,000 Tons and another 140,000 Tons of Imports are due to discharge into Shore Tanks from now till month-end. Similarly, HSD Stocks are 550,000 Tons with another 300,000 Tons expected through imports from now till month end. Product movement from Karachi to up-country locations also continues unabated. Therefore, there is no possibility whatsoever of any shortage as being rumored by certain irresponsible quarters/associations.
