AIOU to mark Day by promoting concept of ‘Green Pakistan’

ISLAMABAD, Aug 13 (INP): Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will mark the Independence Day on Tuesday by promoting the concept of ‘Green Pakistan’. Saplings will be planted in the lawn of the University’s main campus, one each by the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shahid Siddiqui, academicians and the officers. Colorful activities have also been arranged that will be participated by Faulty and the students. Besides speeches, national songs and a tableau will be presented, signifying the occasion. The event will also include hoisting of national flag and distribution of sweets to the students and the employees’ children. INP/AJ
