AIOU’s 20-employees got selected to perform Umrah

ISLAMABAD, Oct 09 (INP ): Twenty employees of the Allama Iqbal Open University(AIOU) will perform Umrah this month under a special scheme, launched in collaboration with the Employees Welfare Association(EWA).
They were selected through an open ballot/draw held here at the University’s main Campus. Among them, there are eight officers of grade 17 and above and twelve from grade two to 16.
Registrar Dr. Muhammad Zaigam Qadeer and other senior officials of the University were present on the occasion.
The Umrah scheme was initiated in 2009 to facilitate the employees for the Umrah privilege under the mutual arrangements of EWA and the University’s management.
