RAWALPINDI, Dec 12 (INP): Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa reiterated the armed forces’ resolve to play its part in ensuring a secure environment for local and foreign investors, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement on Wednesday. “[The] internal security situation of Pakistan has largely improved paving way for foreign investment,” he remarked. “We will continue to play our part in ensuring a secure environment for business and entrepreneurship in Pakistan by both local and foreign investors.” In a visit to forward-deployed troops in Sindh’s Gadra Sector, the army chief said Pakistan Army was fully committed to guarding the frontiers of the country and commended the operational preparedness and high morale of the troops. Accompanied by Commander Karachi Corps Lt General Humayun Aziz, General Bajwa also visited Thar Coal Project and was given a detailed briefing of the pilot project.
